h. 10:45 - 11:30  "The new Co-Production Facility ACP-UE"

Presentation of the new facility supporting Audiovisual Co-Production between productions companies from ACP (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific) and European Union countries. The World Cinema Fund,OIF, the FONSIC and the CNC will announce the first projects selected and the European Commission and the OACPC Secretariat will present the scheme and the foreseen new calls for feature films, documentaries, shorts, TV and Web series.

h.12:00– 13:00 "From Kabul to Bamako: a journey through the rich culture of countries tackling violence, displacement and instability"

A virtual journey from Kabul to Bamako, presenting production opportunities for the creative and audio-visual industry in particularly complex but culturally rich countries on the imaginary line joining Kabul to Bamako; from Afghanistan passing through Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Eritrea, Kenya, S. Sudan, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Mali. The preparation of a new call for production will be announced.

Guest Speakers: Alessandra Speciale (Curator of Final Cut in Venice), Clara Bauer (Theatre Director), Akram Baktar (Film Director and Musician, Afghanistan), Shahram Mokri (Film Director, Iran), Philippe Lacôte (Film Director, Cote d’Ivoire), Simone Cipriani (Chief and Founder of Ethical Fashion Initiative  - ITC).
