“Cinema&Arts” Collateral Award ideated by Alessio Nardin. Awarding films of 83rd Mostra Internazionale di Arte Cinematografica di Venezia La Biennale participants at “Cinema&Arts"

The "Cinema & Arts" awards are designed to highlight, in the films presented at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival (LA BINNALE), content related to and grounded in what we might call "meta-art": that is, art within cinematic art.

Given the artistic trajectory of its creator, the award seeks to investigate and highlight what we might call "meta-art": the relationship and interpenetration between cinema, theater, the visual arts, music, architecture, sculpture. This interaction has lasted for over a century: these arts, without ever renouncing their identity, have constantly nourished and compared one another, exchanging artists, techniques, and inspirations. In some ways, within this field, there exist directors, actors, and artists who we might define as "centaurs," that is, those whose essence is a crossroads and a continuous exchange between cinema, theater, music, and the visual arts. Without sacrificing their identity, these artists know how to best utilize two or more languages ​​and different production methods.

The Eleonora Duse Academy – Experimental Center for Cinema and Performing Arts is an Experimental Center for Cinema and Performing Arts located at the Duse Theater in Asolo (TV).

The Experimental Center was founded in 2023. The Eleonora Duse Academy is particularly focused on the international artistic scene, favoring relationships and projects that involve European and global artistic entities with shared perspectives. The center develops innovative pedagogy on multiple levels, experimenting with new forms of interaction and hybridization between the various arts.
