Launched in 2024, the Film Marketing and Audience Development Support Programme (FMAD) provides Eurimages-supported co-productions with dedicated funding for innovative pre-release marketing and audience-building activities.

Bringing together beneficiaries of the support, the panel will draw on their experience to pinpoint activities that have proved particularly effective in reaching audiences, provide guidance on where difficulties may be encountered, and identify where pre-release marketing can integrate into wider distribution strategies. Speakers will share concrete feedback from funded projects, alongside a candid discussion of the practical and strategic challenges.

The exchange aims to foster broader producer engagement with early-stage marketing and audience-building activities. By highlighting successful approaches alongside key lessons learned, it will provide producers with practical inspiration and innovative ideas to enhance their strategies, whether or not their project is supported by Eurimages.
