Located on the Venice Immersive Island (Lazzaretto Vecchio island), the Venice Immersive Market is gathering all our Immersive activities during the Venice International Film Fetsival. The selected films for the Venice Immersive competition are presented through installations and stand-alones, the Immersive projects of both the Venice Gap-Financing Market and the Biennale College Cinema VR, panels dedicated to Immersive topics and an Exhibition Area for Institutions, public and private funds, the manufacturers, the VR production, distribution and sales companies, public and private funds supporting VR/XR/AR, VFX and post-production companies which are connected to Immersive content.

The Venice Immersive Island will also host an array of social events, including  Venice Production Bridge Panels and Cocktails.

BOOTHS ON THE IMMERSIVE ISLAND

The Immersive Island will also feature international booths, allowing attendees to personally experience titles and projects, meet with representatives of supporting firms, and engage with their various services. The 2023 Focus of the Venice Production Bridge, Germany and Quebec will also be displaying the best of their respective industries.

QUEBEC BOOTH

Venice Production Bridge Focus will further highlight Québec through XR projects as well as companies connected to immersive content.

The Quebec booth in the Venice Immersive Market is supported by Québec Créatif SODEC. The Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) is a government corporation overseen by the Québec Minister of Culture and Communication. SODEC is mandated to promote and support the development Québec’s cultural industry at home and abroad. The corporation is instrumental in making businesses more competitive by fostering the production, the export and distribution of their works. 

The booth is operated by Xn Québec for Québec Créatif SODEC .
