NEW ACCESS ROUTE TO THE VPB AREAS AT THE EXCELSIOR HOTEL
For pass holders and public attending the VPB this year, please note that the access to the Excelsior Hotel for accredited pass holders and the public will be through the Porta Sfingi (Sphinx gates) this year, rather than the main entrance of the hotel.
From there, pass holders and public will be able to proceed past the swimming pool and through the main corridor to the foyer, where stairs and elevators are available to reach the Venice Production Bridge (VPB) spaces on the third floor. Sign posting will giude guests.
The main entrance is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
This will be for the entire duration of the Venice International Film Festival (2 to 12 September, 2026).
Please note: Wheelchair users and their assistants are exempt from this rule and may use the hotel’s main entrance, which features a ramp from the street to the reception. From the reception area, a second ramp leads to the elevators for the third floor. If you require assistance upon arrival on the third floor, please visit our reception desk, where staff will be available to guide you.
