Following its successful debut in previous editions, the Venice Production Bridge is set to further illuminate projects alongside their filmmakers and producers at the Venice Gap-Financing Market, publishers showcasing their recent publications available for adaptation at the Book Adaptation Rights Market, as well as works in progress co-productions at Final Cut in Venice.
The focus also extends to encompass the Immersive projects and visionary creators from the VR/XR/AR realm, alongside VFX and post-production companies, that will be present on the Venice Immersive island.
A comprehensive, 360-degree exploration of the German film industry and its vibrant filmmaking community will unfold through a series of dedicated panels, meetings, and networking events, as well as a reception. The participation of a prominent German delegation, comprising professionals and decision-makers from various spheres (including public funds, festivals, producers, immersive experts, private financial institutions, sales agents, and distributors), will further enrich the experience.
Over the course of the 3-day Venice Gap-Financing Market, a platform dedicated to projects in their crucial stages of development and funding, a global array of initiatives will take center stage.
Among these, from the line-up of Fiction/ Documentary projects:
The forthcoming workshop spans three days, during which the curated selection of seven films in progress will be presented to an invited audience encompassing producers, buyers, distributors, post-production experts, and film festival programmers.
Among these projects, one standout co-productions with Germany has been exclusively chosen to participate in this edition:
Happy Holidays by Scandar Copti (Palestine, Germany, France, Qatar, Italy)
This German co-production exemplify the spirit of collaboration and creativity that defines the Final Cut in Venice workshop.

These projects, alongside the other German selections in the Venice Gap-Financing Market, underscore the creativity and talent thriving within the German film industry.
The Book Adaptation Rights Market will present 34 international publishing houses and literary agencies.
The Venice Production Bridge will offer a specialized platform for engaging with producers participating in the Venice International Film Festival. Through exclusive one-on-one meetings, this unique space facilitates the networking to lead to enduring connections and the negotiation of agreements for the adaptation of various literary forms such as novels, dramas, children’s literature, short stories, comics, graphic novels, essays, and biographies.
The two specially invited German publishers to particpate this year are:
