Submissions Open for the 7th Venice Gap-Financing Market

The Venice Production Bridge has launched the Call for Projects for the 7th Edition of the Venice Gap-Financing Market, which will take place from September 4th to 6th, 2020, during the 77th Venice International Film Festival (2nd – 12th September, 2020).

The Venice Gap-Financing Market is a platform that aims to support European and international producers to secure financing for their projects (Fiction, Documentaries and VR Immersive Story Projects) through one-to-one meetings with potential and pertinent international professionals (producers, sales agents, distributors, financiers, broadcasters and funds). All the invited professionals are decision-makers.

The 3-day event will present up to 45 selected European and International projects together with VR Immersive Story Projects developed through the Biennale College Cinema Virtual Reality.

The selection is divided as follows:
27/33 Feature Film and Narrative or Creative Feature Documentary Projects, including 3 Biennale College Cinema Projects
10/12 VR Immersive Story Projects

Submission deadline: THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT HAS BEEN EXTENDED FROM 30 APRIL TO 15 MAY FOR FICTION AND DOCUMENTARY PROJECTS. ONLY FOR VR IMMERSIVE STORY PROJECTS THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 31ST MAY 2020.
