Following the successful launch of the Venice Production Bridge Focus in 2021 with the Netherlands, our exploration continued in 2022 with an in-depth look at the film production in France and Taipei. Building on this momentum, 2023 saw Germany and Quebec take center stage and in 2024 we shone a spotlight on Luxembourg & Wallonia-Brussels and Japan. The VPB Focuses are achieved through specially selected projects presented by their directors and producers at the Venice Gap-Financing Market, showcasing recent publications available for adaptation at the Book Adaptation Rights Market, works-in-progress co-productions at Final Cut in Venice, as well as Immersive projects and VR/XR/AR creatives, alongside VFX and post-production companies connected to present at the Venice Immersive Market on the Immersive Island.

In 2025 the Venice Production Bridge Focus will shine a spotlight and zoom in on the United Kingdom, Chile and Morocco. This will be achieved through specially selected projects presented by their directors and producers at the Venice Gap-Financing Market, showcasing recent publications available for adaptation at the Book Adaptation Rights Market, works-in-progress co-productions at Final Cut in Venice, a streamer at Meet the Streamers, as well as Immersive projects.

A significant delegation of key decision makers from each of the Focus countries will attend the Venice Production Bridge.

This delegation will include representatives from public funding bodies and private financial institutions, festivals, producers, broadcasters and streamerssales agents, and distributors, alongside VR/XR/AR creatives and post-production companies present at the Venice Immersive Market.

In 2025, the Venice Production Bridge Focus will offer a comprehensive overview of the Industry and filmmaking community of each of the Focus countries, through a series of dedicated panels, meetings, and networking events.
