VPB supported project wins at the European Film Awards 2024

FLOW by Gints Zilbalodis, presented at the Venice Gap-Financing Market in 2022, won as the Best European Animated Feature during the 37th European Film Awards.

Flow, the animated adventure film directed by Gints Zilbalodis, won as the Best European Animated Feature at the prestigious ceremony of the 37th European Film Awards in Lucerne on 7 December 2024.

Written and produced by Zilbalodis and Matīss Kaža, the Latvian, French, and Belgian co-production was presented at the Venice Gap-Financing Market in 2022.

Flow premiered in May 2024 at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section and received wide-spread critical acclaim. It went on to to be shown at the 2024 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where it was awarded the Jury Award, the Audience Award, and the Gan Foundation Award for Distribution in the Feature Film category.
It has subsequently been distributed in multiple territories worldwide.
