VENICE GAP-FINANCING MARKET: DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 10

The deadline to submit a project to the Venice Gap-Financing Market 2024 has been extended by one week, until Friday May 10 (at 23:59 CEST).

 

Don't miss out on the opportunity to present your project to potential co-producers, investors, funders, distributors and other carefully selected and specially invited professionals attending the 11. edition of the Venice Gap-Financing Market, which will take place from August 30 to September 1, 2024, during the 81. Venice International Film Festival (August 28 - September 7, 2024).

If you are interested in submitting your project, please do so by no later than Friday,  May 10. The deadline will be at 23:59 Central European Summer Time. Please check this against your local time zone. The form closes automatically and unfortunately late submissions cannot be accepted.

The Venice Gap-Financing Market is a platform for selected projects that aims to support European and international producers to secure financing for their projects (Fiction, Documentaries, Immersive Projects) through one-to-one meetings with potential and pertinent international professionals (producers, sales agents, distributors, financiers, broadcasters and funds). All the invited professionals are decision-makers.

This call is open to European and International projects for the following categories:

  • Fiction and Documentary Feature Films: up to 27/33 feature films and international narrative or creative feature documentaries, including 3 Biennale College Cinema Projects, from all over the world will be selected. There is no genre limitation and animation feature films are welcome;
  • Immersive Projects: up to 10/12 immersive projects from all over the world will be selected.

The 3-day event (30 August – 1 September 2024) will present up to 45 selected European and International projects and Immersive Projects developed through the Biennale College Cinema Virtual Reality.

The Venice Gap-Financing Market is co-financed by the European Commission’s MEDIA Fund
